Self Healing and Removal of a Non-Defective Drive:
SyneRAID6™-800IP offers an AI user friendly mechanism to assist users to solve HDD failure troubles. When any two disk errors occur, under RAID6 configuration, the system will automatically replace the failed HDD with the dedicated spare drive. This feature offers protection against accidental removal of a non-defective drive in a degraded array set. It also systematically prevents any damage and data loss due to removal of a non-defective drive.
On-line RAID Set Transfer:
This feature allows the administrator to relocate a complete pre-configured RAID set to another disk array unit inserting disks in any order to reconstruct the original RAID configurations without losing initial setting and any data loss.
Smart LED Display ALP(System Active Led Plus):
Unlike regular SCSI Active LED, the synchronized light indicators for Cache Memory, Controller and HDD on the front panel provide precise operation status to the user. This feature allows any data left in the Cache Memory to be completely written on HDD before the RAID subsystem shuts down.
RFI ( Redundant Flash Image ):
SyneRAID6™-800IP offers RFI (Redundant Flash Image) providing a unique redundancy which ensures the controller availability reducing the risk of system failure due to firmware crash.
LED Auto-Scanning:
When the system is on, the LED Auto-scanning function activates the subsystem to check the order for all its indicators and identifies each drive's address from 1 to 8 in the RAID.
Overload Voltage Protection:
A Four-Stage HDD power design system protects the power supply from overloading and guaranties a longer drive life.
